- Intro to Latin for adults.

SHAKESPEARE APPRECIATIONfor 11-13 year olds+ – reading Julius Caesar, with demonstrations and student participation, using the actual text, leading to a comfortable understanding and enjoyment of both Shakespeare in general and the play in particular – as a live theater experience and as literature.

SHAKESPEARE APPRECIATIONfor junior/senior high school students and adults – reading a Shakespeare play of the student’s choice, with demonstrations and student participation, using the actual text, leading to a comfortable understanding and enjoyment of both Shakespeare in general and the play in particular – as a live theater experience and as literature.

ENGLISH GRAMMARfor 11-13 year olds+ – (text exercise materials provided) – a fun course to understand why correct usage of the English language is essential for both spoken and written clarity!

ENGLISH GRAMMAR and COMPOSITIONfor high school students, college undergraduates and adults – an individually developed course based on each student’s particular need.

LATIN and ENGLISH Combinedadjusted for all levels – in one lesson – learning Latin together with English grammar/vocabulary.  Constant cross-referencing is a great way to learn both subjects!

TEST PREP:

—-PSAT English – re-learning fundamental principles of English grammar, composition, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc., and employing test-taking techniques – while using commercially available exercise texts, PLUS actual, previously administered College Board PSATs.

—-SAT English – re-learning fundamental principles of English grammar, composition, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc., and employing test-taking techniques – while using commercially available exercise texts, PLUS actual, previously administered College Board SATs.

—-ACT English – re-learning fundamental principles of English grammar, composition, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc., and employing test-taking techniques – while using commercially available exercise texts.

—-SHSAT English – re-learning fundamental principles of English grammar, composition, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc., and employing test-taking techniques – while using commercially available exercise texts.

—-College Application Essays – a course focusing on the writing of a well thought-out, and well-written essay that will stand out.

—-GED English – re-learning fundamental principles of English grammar, composition, vocabulary, reading comprehension, etc., and employing test-taking techniques – while using commercially available exercise texts for constant practice.
